Production Team

The Penny Dreadfuls are managed & produced in house by Idil Sukan and Steve Greer. Atmospheric lighting and an epic soundtrack is an intrinsic part of the production; our technical director is the award-winning Neil Hobbs. The artwork, playing cards and other publicity graphics are painted and designed by Idil, and the photography is taken by both herself and Neil using Nikon DSLRs. Steve manages and maintains our website.

The Penny Dreadfuls are represented by Susan Williams for The Richard Stone Partnership. (www.vivienneclore.com)

She also currently produces Sketchatron, a sketch comedy showcase which is transferring to the Pleasance Theatre after successful runs at the Etcetera and the Canal Cafe in London.

Idil has made the move into digital painting this year, and has produced exclusive paintings of the four Dreadfuls for this year’s Edinburgh Festival commemorative playing cards, web graphics and publicity designs. She also draws caricatures and cartoons.
